Monday

Today, we made cream of broccoli soup and prepped for ratatouille. I believe we are going to make ratatouille and more soup tomorrow. I have to admit, I like mom's recipe for broccoli soup better. It has more flavor and texture. The soup we made in class was pureed with no texture at all.

I took the soup home for dinner and some fresh donuts for dessert. The donuts were from the bake shop two rooms over and they were delicious! They were rolled in sugar and still warm when a student brought them. I am so lucky to be in cooking school!
